Certificate in Fire Safety
and Risk Management
The syllabus is divided into two taught units:
NGC1: The Management of Health and Safety and FC1:
Fire Safety and Risk Management
The first unit of the Fire Risk Management Certificate is drawn
from the management of health and safety aspects of the NEBOSH
National General Certificate. Those who have achieved the National
General Certificate or passed Paper A1 within the last 5 years
will only have to take and pass the second Unit of the Fire Risk
Management Certificate, and the Fire Practical Assessment to achieve
the new qualification.
