Safety Statements

A safety statement is a company's declaration of its commitment to maintaining high levels of safety within the workplace. All employers and the self-employed are obliged to have an up-to-date safety statement under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. The safety statement must identify the risks and hazards and outline how each risk/hazard is to be reduced or eliminated. A review and/or update will be necessary depending on changes to your work practices or legislation.

Risk Assessments

The intrinsic value of a safety statement is the Risk Assessment. Our risk assessor will call to your place of work to conduct an inspection. He/She will make out a report identifying the relevant hazards and risks. That is, the potential to cause harm and the likelihood to cause harm respectively. The report will also contain information on who is responsible for addressing the issues and a recommendation on the necessary steps to reduce or eliminate the risk.
