About Us

AKT Safety Services Ltd is an Irish owned company and we recognise the need for qualified Health and Safety representatives in the workplace. Our goal is to provide employers and employees with courses that will improve the productivity of their company and at the same time help them to comply with the 2005 Health and Safety regulations.

We aim to assist company directors and safety representatives with any health and safety problems they may have. This policy is based on trust, reliability and personal service.

Health and safety in the workplace has never been more important and the need for companies to comply with the increasing amount of legislation has become all too apparent. We believe that the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 represents a modernisation of Irish occupational health and safety laws and it sets the scene for achieving further improvements in the national record on safety and health over the next few decades. Its main provisions are the prevention of workplace accidents, illnesses and dangerous occurrences. It also provides for significantly increased fines and penalties orchestrated at deterring the companies who have flouted and continue to flout safety and health laws.
